- Use an account you control and pay from that same account. Exchange deposit addresses are not supported.
Completed registrations are non-refundable, except where required by law. Your wallet also charges the network transaction fee.

Why get a Bithomp Username?
Give your address an easy-to-remember name, such as alice. Use it to find accounts and fill in address fields on Bithomp — when looking up NFT owners, sending payments, issuing checks and more. You also get a shareable profile link.
Where can I use it?
Your name is public across Bithomp explorers and available to third-party services that integrate with the Bithomp API. Support varies by service; it is not a universal replacement for your blockchain address. Always check the resolved address before sending.
How much does it cost?
Registration costs 9.09 XRP. Pay from the account you are naming, using the exact payment instructions. The ledger transaction fee is separate. Completed registrations are non-refundable, except where required by law.
Can I change or delete my username?
The service does not offer changes, transfers or deletion after registration, so check the spelling carefully. There is one username per address. Names may be revoked for abuse, and names inactive for more than five years may be reviewed under the Username Terms. Statutory rights are unaffected.
Which account can I register?
An XRPL mainnet account for which you can authorize a payment. Registration must be paid from that same account, not an exchange or someone else’s wallet. The name can then appear on other Bithomp explorers too.
Does a username give access to funds?
No. It is a public label, not a wallet or recovery service. Registering a name will not help you access funds in an account you cannot control. Knowing your username or public address does not give anyone control of your funds. Never share your secret key, seed or recovery phrase; Bithomp does not need them.
